FOOTBALL || Everyone loved Mohamed Salah’s update after Man United lost to Sevilla

Sevilla knock out Manchester United

Manchester United’s Champions League dreams are over.

Jose Mourinho’s side were well below-par at Old Trafford on Tuesday, as Sevilla claimed a 2-1 win at the Theatre of Dreams.

It was the first time that Sevilla had ever won an away match in England.

Wissam Ben Yedder was the hero for Sevilla as he came off the bench to score a second half double.

Romelu Lukaku got on the scoresheet for United in the 84th minute, but it was too little too late.

‘Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah trolls Man United’

After the Man United match finished, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah ‘trolled’ the Red Devils on social media.

Minutes after the final whistle blew at Old Trafford, the Egyptian updated his Twitter account.

“The UCL draw can’t come soon enough,” Salah wrote on Twitter, as he also included a smiling emoji.

Liverpool have progressed into the quarterfinals after a 5-0 aggregate win over Porto.

Man City have also qualified for the last 8, while Chelsea can join them in the next round if they can at least score a score-draw against Barcelona in the Cam Nou tonight.

Mohamed Salah & Real Madrid

Last weekend Spanish paper El Confidential claimed that Real Madrid are weighing up a summer move for Liverpool’s Salah.

Is the Egyptian untouchable at Anfield? No, claim the Spanish media.

Salah, the Premier League’s joint-top scorer, is said to be “prohibitively expensive”, yet Real have been told a price “through intermediaries”.

It’s at least the same figure which Barcelona paid for Philippe Coutinho – 160 million euros – while Liverpool are said to be demanding 180 million euros, which is what PSG paid Monaco for Kylian Mbappe.
